Salman is back with a bang

Trade analysts feel Salman Khan’s latest will be a winner at the box office
Salman Khan and Asin Thottumkal’s “Ready”, that opens today, has two things working for it. First, Salman is still riding a huge “Dabangg” high, and second, the two songs, “Character Dheela” and “Dhinka Chika”, composed by Pritam, have become a rage. Trade gurus feel that the two songs have a strong hand in giving the film a super opening.
Trade analyst Komal Nahta says, “Some people might think that I’m jumping the gun, but I have a strong feeling that this film will have a much better opening than even “Dabangg” did.I don’t know if it will do the same business as “Dabangg”, but rest assured, the film is a hit. There’s no doubt about it.” Komal reasons, “Salman is the flavour of the season at the box office. His “Dabangg” high is still very much on and that has added to the expectation of the people. It’s a perfect movie for Salman because the script is good and it’s a comedy. Again, “Character Dheela” and “Dhinka Chika” have been chartbusters for weeks now. That will definitely help the movie get a big opening.”
Vajir Singh adds, “With just the huge buzz the film has generated, it is expected to sail through. Salman Khan is coming on screen after months, and people are looking forward to a good entertainer after the cricket World Cup and IPL. So, the expectation is huge and Salman will deliver”
The film is produced by T-Series, Sohail Khan Productions and Rawail Grandsons Entertainment and Software Pvt Ltd. Producer Bhushan Kumar says, “We’re delighted by the response from all over the country. The film has registered advance bookings that are 40% more than those of “Dabangg”, and that says a lot.”
